About Dr. Rod Plummer
Senior Pastors of Lifehouse International Church, Ps Rod and Viv Plummer, are true pioneers with a passion for reaching every person with Gods’ message. They oversee all of our Lifehouse Churches across Japan and Asia.
Ps Rod & Viv pastored for many years in Australia, and have led multiple church-planting projects in other nations such as Thailand, the Philippines, and Indonesia.
In response to God’s call, along with their two sons, they left a large, thriving church in Toowoomba, Australia to plant a new church in Tokyo, Japan.
Their heart is to inspire, mentor, and equip hundreds of young Japanese and foreign leaders to minister to the needs of people not only in the greater Tokyo area, but throughout Japan, Asia beyond.
They are the true embodiment of what it means to “Go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19 NIV)
Dr. Rod is known as a “training pastor”, having raised up and discipled hundreds of leaders who are now serving and training the next generation in all areas of ministry.
Dr. Rod received his Doctorate of Ministry from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida after years of research on innovative missions in Japan.
Under Pastor Rod’s leadership, Lifehouse Church has grown from a team of 16 to thousands of weekly attendees across Japan and Asia and thousands of people reached with the gospel every year.
